Again, I am a day behind...and today, I am thankful for my husband.
We met at work over 5 years ago and have since become inseparable. We were together less than two years before getting married in Cozumel, Mexico on July 4, 2008. There were 10 of us that went to Mexico including my parents and brother and Trent's parents and brother. I've been to many really cool places since then, but this "vacation" still sits at my number one spot for best vacation ever. I honestly can't even put into words what I feel when I think about that week. It was absolutely amazing and I am so happy that everyone was there to share, not just our marriage, but the entire week together.
Trent is one of a kind. Which is of course what attracted me to him in the first place. He's smart, funny, handsome, kind...you know, all the things a woman expects her husband to be. However, Trent is also my best friend. We do everything together because everything is better when we are together. He loves and respects me for who I am and would never ask me to be anything else. His personality is vastly different than mine in that he is completely open and has never met a stranger. However it complements my more reserved and shy nature. Everything about us...just fits perfectly. Trent is the love of my life and every day I wonder how it is I am so lucky to call him mine.
