I am a day behind. This should have been started yesterday.
First and foremost...I am thankful for my parents because without them, there would be no me. Without them, I wouldn't have grown into the person I am today.
My parents just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. 35 YEARS!!! They were high school sweethearts, something that has only a slight chance of happening these days. I haven't always been the best child and I know at times I surely stressed them out. When I was younger, I of course thought I understood everything and that I knew more than they did. Now that I am older, I know everything they have done has been in my best interest. For the most part, they have allowed me to make my own decisions and have always stood by my side through the good times and the bad. Luckily for me, I've had mostly good times with my parents and I look forward to all the days and years to come! I couldn't have asked for better parents if I was given the opportunity to pick them out myself.
