Today I am thankful for my dog, Kimmy.
She is a 7 year old pug I got when she was just 8 weeks old. If you are not sure what a pug is, they are very stout dogs with a short snouts and curly tail. They can either be fawn or all black in color and the fawns have black ears and face. They snort like a pig, snot all over everything and snore loudly when they sleep. They have a very playful and funny personality that matches no other. They also have enough hair to make sweaters for your entire family. The shedding never stops and is the only downfall to these wonderful dogs.
Kimmy has gone everywhere with me these past 7 years and is my best furry friend. She has lived in many houses and while the only real training she ever had was to go potty outside, she is a very well mannered dog. She can sit, lay down, speak and will come or stay whenever asked. She is also a champ at catching cheerios and chasing the laser light! However, she gets VERY excited when people come over and will jump all over you and lick you to death. She typically sleeps most of the day but also still loves to play too. She sleeps in bed with us every night and snuggles under the covers when it's cold. She also LOVES to go bye-bye and visit her Nana.
To some Kimmy is just a dog, but to me, she is like my child. I feel there is no reason to ever have an animal if you aren't going to spoil them completely rotten!
